Moving house makes me wish I owned only one pair of shoes.
Notes to Myself
I write this blog to myself.
When I asked, “Are you part of the problem?” in yesterday’s posting, I was asking whether or not Papa T. is contributing to the ills of society. When I said that we need events that upset the status quo, I was telling myself to accept such events and not whine about them. When I wrote “Be cheerful”, I was commanding myself not to be a sourpuss.
If anybody else gets something beneficial from my comments, that’s fine. But that is not the purpose.
Part of the the problem?
If you don’t like the world the way it is, ask yourself if there is something that you are doing that contributes to the problem. Do you need to stop doing a certain action? Do you need to change a belief?
Mistakes
If I had known years ago what I know now, I would not have made a lot of the mistakes I have made. I would have made other mistakes instead.
Undefeated
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 4:8-9

My bank is run by morons
The bank told me that I could use a smart phone or tablet to deposit checks. I tried it and it worked. It wasn’t hard to do at all.
I had some cash that I had received from a friend in repayment of a small loan. I thought I’d deposit it too. I went through the same drill. Take a picture of the front. Take a picture of the back. Would you believe that the app would not deposit my money? What kind of goofy bank is it that won’t let you deposit cash?
Status Quo
Once in a while something unusual happens to upset the status quo. As much as we may not like these events, we need them.
